Housing

I am supporting several policies that address Massachusetts’ housing crisis head-on.

One such bill, H.1952, ensures that tenants facing eviction have access to legal counsel. Bill H.1544, or “Tenant Opportunity to Purchase,” keeps affordable housing out of the hands of speculators and protects tenants from displacement. The bill creates a path to home ownership by putting tenants first in line to make an offer to buy the property they live in when it is put up for sale.

I am further committed to eliminating unnecessary fees in rental housing and to expanding access to affordable housing across the state.
